Professor Hassan O. Mahadallah is currently the Rector for Somali National University (SNU) and has been the Rector since 2021. From 2014 to 2021, Prof was the Commissioner for the Independent Constitution Review and Implementation Commission (ICRIC) and in 2011 to present, Prof. Hassan Mahadallah is an Independent Consultant. In 2009 to 2010 Prof. Hassan was the interim chair in the Department of Public Administration for Southern University at Baton Rouge (SUBR) and from 2010 to present, Prof. Hassan is appointed Professor of the Department of Political Science at SUBR. From 1998 to 2010, Prof. Mahadallah was appointed Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science at SUBR.
