SPEAKER BIO

Atlehang Bokaba

Atlehang Bokaba is a Research Assistant in the Research portfolio and in the Director’s office of the Office for International Affairs at the University of the Free State, South Africa. She is also a Research Assistant for the Female Voices on COIL project.

She obtained her Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Political Science and History, from the University of the Free State. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts Honours in History at the same institution. She served as the Golden Key International UFSQQ chapter president, Residence Committee Prime, and Residence Committee Deputy Prime in her undergraduate years. She has also served as chairperson of the student representative committee of The Faculty of the Humanities. She is a philanthropist at heart who, in her spare time, serves at non-profit organisations that speak to women’s empowerment and eradicating drug and alcohol abuse in her community.
