Kwazikwenkosi Biyela completed her Masters in Population Studies at the School of Built Environment and Development Studies at the University if KwaZululu-Natal. She lived most of her life in a small rural town but moved to Durban to complete her postgraduate studies. Her research focuses on the experiences of migrant students.
