Before joining VUT, Wiseman was an Executive Dean at CIDA City Campus (CIDA), positioning the institution as an innovative leader in business education. Under his leadership, CIDA received the following accolades: Centre for Public Service Innovation (CPSI) Innovative Service Delivery Institutions Category Award for 2009/2010 service year; CPSI Public Sector Innovator of the Year Award for 2009/2010; The African Business – National Business Awards 2010 – an Honorary recognition in the Category of Business Education and Training. His professional experience spans over 25 years in both corporate and academic sectors as a business manager and an academic at various capacities.
Wiseman is the Immediate Past President of IEASA for the presidential term of 2021to 2022. He currently serves as a member of IEASA Executive Committee and a member of the Council. To date served as an active member of IEASA for several years and he has been a member of the Directors’ Forum for over a decade and once served as a Chair of Directors’ Forum.
He has attended numerous international conferences in various continents. His interests are international relations, cultural diplomacy, leadership development and advancement. He holds an MBA degree in Strategic Marketing from the University of KwaZulu Natal.
